All Things Fall: October News!

It’s time for all things PUMPKIN! That’s how I like to think of October anyways! Well pumpkins and football and apples, I guess those would be the top 3!

By now your fall schedule is in full swing. Kids are rolling along at school and fall sports are happening, schedules are busy busy I know. So how are you doing? Are you taking that time for yourself? Are you getting your workouts in and eating for your goals? In order for you to take care of others to your best ability make sure you are taking care of yourself and your needs as well. If you don’t do that, it always catches up, usually in the form of sickness, weight gain, irritable and short tempered and just overall not feeling awesome when you wake up everyday.

MEAL PREP ON THE WEEKENDS OR 1 EVENING DURING THE WEEK

ARRANGE A CARPOOL IF YOU HAVE KIDS IN SPORTS AND THIS COULD FREE UP A FEW NIGHTS A WEEK FOR YOU TO PERHAPS DO FOOD PREP, GET A MASSAGE, GET A WORKOUT IN WITH FITNESS YOU CAN LIVE WITH

CHOOSE WORKOUTS THAT YOU WILL GET THE MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK WITH. 20-30 MIN CIRCUIT TRAINING INVOLVING PUSHUPS,PULL-UPS,SQUATTING, JUMP SQUATS AND BURPEES. THESE ARE ALL SUPER EFFECTIVE MOVES THAT WILL ALWAYS GIVE YOUR BODY A CHARGE!

USE REFERENCES LIKE FITNESS YOU CAN LIVE WITH WEBSITE,YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK AND PINTEREST FOR WORKOUT IDEAS

MAKE SURE YOU ARE STAYING HYDRATED WITH WATER THROUGH THE DAY. HYDRATION HELPS THINGS LIKE DIGESTION AND ENERGY AND IS HIGHLY UNDERRATED. MOST OFTEN WHEN PEOPLE HAVE A HEADACHE THEY ARE MOST LIKELY DEHYDRATED.

KEEP YOUR SLEEP CONSISTENT, DON’T SLEEP 8HRS ONE NIGHT AND THEN 4HRS THE NXT 2 NIGHTS. DEVELOP A SLEEP CYCLE FOR YOUR BODY TO GET USE TO. THIS WILL TRANSLATE INTO YOUR DAY TO DAY PRODUCTIVITY.

BRING SNACKS- IF YOU ARE OUT AND ABOUT FOR THE DAY OR BUSY AT WORK AND YOU WANT TO FIGHT THAT AFTERNOON SLUMP MAKE SURE YOU ARE FEEDING YOUR BODY. SNACKS LIKE VEGA ONE BARS OR VEGA ALL IN ONE POWDER CAN COVER ALL OF YOUR NUTRITIONAL BASES IN A HURRY. PACK AHEAD THINGS LIKE A SERVING OF RAW NUTS OR NUT BUTTER WITH FRUIT OR RICE CAKES,CRACKERS ETC. OR A HEALTHY HUMMUS WITH VEGETABLES. I PRETTY MUCH DON’T GO ANYWHERE WITHUT MY COOLER BAG, I HAVE A SMALL ONE FOR SNACKS AND A BIG ONE FOR MY LUNCH AND YES I PLAN AHEAD SO I AM PREPARED.

LET THE REINS LOOSE AND DELEGATE- ENLIST YOUR FAMILY TO HELP YOU! GUESS WHAT ITS NOT ALL ON YOU SO GIVE THOSE OTHER HUMANS SOME JOBS TO DO TO TAKE SOME OF THE PRESSURE OFF OF YOU. YOUR FUTURE YOU WILL BE REALLY PSYCHED ON THIS CONCEPT.
