TUESDAY NIGHT GROUP POWERBOXING FROM 5PM-6PM AT MERILL FIELD IN HAMBURG ***IF IT RAINS OR GRASS IS TOO WET IT WILL ALWAYS BE AT FITNESS YOU CAN LIVE WITH, SO MAKE SURE TO CHECK FACEBOOK OR MY WEBSITE FOR DETAILS ON THAT DAY! IF IT IS AT THE FIELD FEEL FREE TO BRING KIDS THERE IS A PLAYGROUND AND BATHROOMS AS WELL AS PLENTY OF ROOM TO RUN AROUND***

As we head into the peak of the summer it can be chaotic with vacations and parties so how can you stay on the ‘wagon” and come out of it feeling good about yourself and moving forward with your goals?

  1. DON’T STARVE YOURSELF- This is NEVER the answer, don’t start skipping meals or slashing calories in hopes to get lean…not gonna happen! Your body needs good fuel throughout the day.
  2. NO EXCUSES,STAYING FOCUSED-Think of what you want out of a healthy lifestyle and smash the excuses, we all have 24hrs and 365 days in a year to do with them what we want. Take the reins on your own destiny, if I wanted to I could come up with excuses everyday of why its easier to get subway for lunch than make myself a real lunch at home and bring it with me…but then I think, what a waste of money that would be and it would be getting me further from my goals.
  3. AVOID THE NAYSAYERS-There will always be crabs in the pot and there will always be people who try to steer you away from your healthy decisions…”oh just have one piece of this or one drink of that” do what you know is right and don’t let people force you into it just so they can feel ok with eating or drinking garbage.
  4. BE PREPARED AND STAY AWAY FROM TRIGGERS- Yeah so if you love pizza and you know you cant eat just one or two pieces then maybe it’s a good idea to eat before you go to a party or over to a friend’s house or even better bring your own food or offer to bring a healthy dish. I do that all the time. Learn to not care what anyone thinks because at the end of the day its you that has to live in your body not anyone else.

 

Working out durng the summer months you might lose a little more fluids than normal I know I do! So instead of grabbing a really processed drink like Gatorade,powerade etc. try out VEGA ELECTROLYTE HYDRATOR!
