February News: Consistent Month of Health!




February check in! How is everyone doing with their winter fitness?? Those muscles you build in the winter are going to look sweet on that body you wear in the summer! Keep at it and build some consistency is my theme this month.

Everyone seems to want the quick fix, the miracle food, the miracle workout, the abs exercise, pill, powder, detox, body wrap, greens powder, supplement, vitamin, elixir….and the list  goes on!

NEWSFLASH—–while some of those things might be complimentary to a consistent program of exercise and good nutrition…NONE of those things stand alone as any sort of life saving miracle fat loss remedy you are looking for.

The 4 pillars of vitality are: EXERCISE,NUTRITION, SLEEP, MOOD BALANCE.  Put all of those together as a neat little package on a consistent basis and you will reach the health you are seeking.

I can only help you after I evaluate all of these things, not one single person leads the same schedule as another person. At Fitness You Can Live With I look closely at your schedule, your current habits in all areas of vitality and move forward from there to help you to the best of my ability. It is up to you at that point to execute on a consistent basis the plan I lay out for you and embrace the changes that WILL happen to your body and mind if you stick with it.

It takes more than a week or two of consistency; it takes 21 days to build a new habit. What was the last thing you did for your health for 21 days straight?  I challenge you to pick one good thing for your health and do it for 21 days and let me know what it is and how you do! If you need help picking an area to focus on give me a shout I can help you pick one!

February is national heart month and heart disease continues to be the number one killer for us, yet we continue to dump millions of dollars into medications ,weight loss supplements ,processed foods convenience foods etc. year after year.

Do your part and lead by example, treat your body good and you will be treating your heart good as well.
